We are fighting for publicly-owned utilities in Boston and beyond. Join us and #TakeBackTheGrid.
Utilities make billions of dollars in profit each year, while charging us more for “grid maintenance,” “upgrades,” and “financial viability.” We demand no new rate hikes, especially when our neighbors are already struggling to pay their utility bills.
Fossil fuels poison our air, water, and livelihoods– affecting vulnerable populations disproportionately. Construction of new fossil fuel infrastructure should be be halted and replaced with a renewable energy system that strives for a more equitable and ecologically sustainable future.
Profit-hungry corporations insist on cutting corners, continuously prioritizing financial gain over safety and security. Workers who maintain our energy systems are excluded from key decisions, and are the first to suffer from cost-cutting measures. Our work supports organized labor and condemns corporate greed.
